Does God really Exist?

My personal philosophy is that before you are able to totally believe in something, you need to doubt it first and theen evaluate and get to the reason behind your notions and believes. So I had my own evaluations behind my belief of a God... then, I doubted. I doubted the existence of a God and evaluated everything I had heard from the possibility of evolution, Big bang theory and all the other theories. None of them quite gives complete answers to life’s big questions. There were too many question marks and too many unanswered questions...I was in this phase of disbelieve... until I had a personal encounter with God...

I am now a believer! And why am I so convinced?
I see Him working in my life and in the lives of those around me, He comes with an inner conviction that nothing else can explain. He speaks in all manner of ways. His love embrace is so real, to all who surrender to Him and fall into his open arms. He appeals to all my senses each time I take a stroll in the park or under the moonlight. The beautiful flowers by the road side and in the gardens, the amazing rays of sunshine that hit earth and bring warmth, the calm of the flowing stream, the sound of the birds chirping every morning, the sweet scent of roses and breathe of fresh air by the country side, the intrinsic and delightful taste of the different fruits and foods that He created, each with its own taste all shout of a genius touch. What great diversity that nature carries, and this all couldn’t be have been by chance.

What about the love I experience from my family and loved ones? How can you explain love without God? God is love! And we are all but sinners who live and know how to love because he first loved us.

WE believe in air yet we cannot see it,

We believe in electricity yet we cannot see it,

We believe in gravity and yet we cannot see it... we just see them in action.

Then why do we find it so hard to believe in a God we cannot see, though despite of His greatness and because of His love and mercy, He allows us to feel and experience him and know Him on a personal level!

As much as the world wanted to believe that the world is flat, it did not change the fact that it wasn’t. Same thing with God. We may want to assume that He doesn’t exist, but it doesn’t change the fact that He does.

God loves you! In doubt? Try him and he shall hold your hand and walk with you and reveal himself to you in every step of the way. But only if you want to. God is a gentleman, He will never force himself on anyone. This is why He gave us free will.

Jeremiah 29:13
